The frequency of cleaning a septic system will vary from home to home. These are some general guidelines although some homes may need to be serviced at a different schedule. In homes where one or more people are home all day, each person counts as 2 occupants. The increased usage causes more material to be in the tank thus requiring more frequent cleaning.
